Equipment hauling questions
My machine doesn't run. Can you still move it?
Maybe. Tell us whether it rolls and steers, whether any tires are flat, and send a photo of where it's sitting. We'll tell you straight whether we can load it.
How do I find out what my machine weighs?
Check the data plate, the operator's manual or the manufacturer's spec sheet. Add the loader, any attachments, and filled tires or wheel weights. Not sure? Give us the make and model.
How should I get the machine ready?
Take loose items out of the cab and the bucket, latch the doors and the hood, and air up the tires. If it runs, make sure it has fuel and a charged battery. Have the keys handy and take a few photos of its condition.
Can you pick up from an auction yard or a dealer?
Tell us the lot number, the yard's hours, the removal deadline and whether the yard loads. Have your paid invoice or release ready. We'll tell you straight whether we can make the pickup.
What if the ground is muddy or the driveway is tight?
A truck and trailer need firm ground and room to turn around. Send a photo of the way in and we'll work out a loading spot or a better day.
Is my machine too wide or too tall?
In Texas, a load wider than 8 feet 6 inches, or taller than 14 feet once it's on the trailer, needs a state oversize permit. If yours is close, tell us the width and height up front.
